This course covers the new Carrier 2-pipe heat recovery product. This course equips service technicians with the knowledge, tools and ability to install and commission a Carrier VRF system. A factory certified instructor will lead the class on installation best practices, commissioning sequence, and test operation. COURSE WORK INCLUDES: 1 - Piping layout, including local Chicago code issues 2 - Communication wiring 3 - Startup of the system, including step by step procedures on an operating system 4 - Controls, including local, central, and BACnet types 5 - Service tips, including most common faults, reading fault codes, and system override prior to repair RECOMMENDED FOR: Pipefitters and installers Service technicians Service managers Lunch will be provided.
